Since Maretta's SEEG surgery was scheduled so close to her 7th birthday this year we carried over her birthday theme "painting" to the P7 Room 20 where we took up residence for 23 days.
During that time she churned out so many paintings, many of which we made specifically for her various providers.
The watercolor featured on the 2024 Tumbler is called "Maretta's Garden." This watercolor, along with "Gardening" (a painting made specifically for Maretta's neurosurgeon) were Maretta's first real directed attempts at painting flowers. Inspired by a shared love of gardening, we dedicate the "Maretta's Garden" watercolor designed items to Dr. Ahmed.
